Philosophy of Holy Family Parish School

We at Holy Family Parish School believe that as a Christian, Catholic school community, Jesus and His teachings should be the central focus of our work.

It is our responsibility and privilege to impart to our students the tools and values necessary to make responsible decisions; whether spiritual, social or practical. Each individual is considered to have a unique combination of talents to be developed in cooperation with family and all communities of which the child is a part.

It is our ultimate goal to create within the child a love of self, evolving to love of others, which is a response to Christ's love for us.

Academic Philosophy:
The academic program at Holy Family is based on faith, values, and high standards for achievement and conduct. Holy Family is large enough to provide outstanding academic opportunities and small enough for the principal to know each child by name. National test scores consistently rank Holy Family among the top Catholic schools in the state.

Curriculum:
Holy Family focuses on each child as an individual. We build upon students' unique talents and abilities to help them reach their maximum potential. Our curriculum encourages children to take risks, accept challenges, collaborate, cooperate and grow. Our integrated curriculum blends real-life experience with academic learning. A strong foundation in the core subjects ensures that all students become proficient in reading, writing and mathematics. Language arts and mathematics skills are reinforced through enrichment activities in our Learning Connection. Field trips, guest speakers and special presentations enhance learning in all grade levels.
