Admissions
The goal of Holy Family Parish School is to promote academic success as well as the spiritual and emotional well being of our students in an environment of care and support.
The Right Place
When you walk through the doors at Holy Family School, you'll know it's
the right place for your child's education. Our school is large
enough to provide outstanding academic opportunities and small enough
to give each student individual attention. The principal knows every
child by name. Students in all grades interact. Younger children
have "Guardian Angels" from the upper grades. Older students
look after the younger ones just like a family. And our test scores
consistently rank Holy Family among the top Catholic schools in
the state.
Join the "Family"
You need not be a member of Holy Family Parish to attend its school, but
we ask that you schedule a tour, which includes meeting the
principal. To schedule your appointment, contact the school office at
414-332-8175. Our recruitment director will be happy to meet with you.
Spiritual & Emotional Growth
Holy Family students learn much more than academics. They're taught
gospel values and given opportunities to experience living these
values firsthand. Our faith is the building block of our school
community. Our families work, play and pray together.
Religion is an academic subject as well as the foundation for all programs at the school. Moral standards based in the Catholic tradition are incorporated throughout the curriculum and school day. All students study religion daily and attend Mass weekly. Our youngest attend Mass with their "Guardian Angels." School-wide and individual class service projects provide opportunities for community service and outreach.
Our organizational opportunities encourage active and healthy development as well. Students are able to participate in: campus ministry, dramatic productions, instrumental music and band, interscholastic sports, scouting, student council and the Guardian Angel program.

All Holy Family teachers have postgraduate training and many have masters degrees. The school features specialty teachers in Computers, Art, Music, Spanish, Physical Education and Library. Foreign language instruction is a standard for grades 1 through 8. Music, gym, art classes and computer instruction are part of the curriculum for grades K-4 through 8.
Holy Family Parish School implemented a new state-of-the-art science
curriculum in the 2001-2002 school year. The elementary program
is based on the Full Option Science System (FOSS) curriculum, which
was revised and updated in 2000. The focus of FOSS is on challenging,
hands-on investigations in the life, earth, and physical sciences
and the development of critical thinking skills. This curriculum
is regarded highly and promoted widely by scientists and educators
because of its alignment with the National Science Education Standards
and other nationally recognized guidelines for best practices in
science instruction and assessment. Holy Family's Middle School
was the first school in the Milwaukee area to adopt the Foss middle
school curriculum, which was published for the first time in 2000
after five years of national field testing. The Middle School science
program uses a combination of the FOSS middle school units and curriculum
from Science and Technology Concepts for Middle School. The Holy
Family laboratory was completely updated during the 2001-2002 school
year to accommodate the state-of-the-art equipment and materials
required for teaching this program. Milwaukee

Nurturing and Supporting
Holy Family School strives to live up to its name and live the ideal by
modeling itself after the "Holy Family." One way to exemplify
this is through the Guardian Angel program which pairs older students
with younger students. Guardian Angels sit with each other at
liturgies and other school events, make cards for each other,
share shoe box meals and pray for each other. Additionally,
the Learning Connection enhances students abilities, talents and creativity
through reinforcement and enrichment activities. Individual tutoring
is available for students in grades 1 through 5.
Holy Family Parish School does not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, gender or national origin.
