Holy Family Parish School Board

Consisting of nine elected
members, the Holy Family Parish School Board works with the
Pastor and the Principal in forming school policy. The School
Board is an advisory board, which has the purpose of developing
and further defining the policies that aid the operation of
the school and maintain consistency between our policies and
those of the Archdiocese of Milwaukee. Typical topics include
goals, standards, facilities, finance, curriculum, admissions,
community relations, and relations with other parish commissions
and committees. The Board meets on the first Tuesday of every
month. Parents and invited and encouraged to attend these
meetings.

Laura Koppa is a household engineer who has been a member of the parish for 10 years. She has 4 children at Holy Family. She has also been the Home and School Secretary and the Golf Outing Co-Chair. She joined the School Board to support the school and be involved in some decision making. She chose Holy Family Parish School because of the faculty, staff and dedicated parents.
Cathy Shaw is a household engineer with 2 children at HFPS. She has also been the Auction Co-chair and Recruitment Director. She is also the Parish Council liaison.
Joan Flayter has been a member of the parish for 8 years. She is a household engineer with 4 children currently enrolled at HFPS. She also helps coordinate the Little Dribblers program, Vacation Bible School and Children’s Liturgy. Her liaison assignment is Home & School and Religious Education. Joan joined the school board to be involved with and have an understanding of the decisions made for the betterment of HFPS. She believes that the strength of this school is the essence of its name. It is a prayerful, loving family.
Phil O’Brien is an attorney and has been a member of the parish for 17 years. He has a daughter who is an alum of the school and a son in 8th grade. He is the past president of the School Board.
Stacy Ward is an attorney with 2 children attending HFPS. She has been a parish member for 5 years and is a liaison to the Development Committee. Stacy believes that one of the greatest strengths of the school is that it has a great sense of community.
Mark Wagner is a German teacher at Nicolet High School. He has 2 children attending HFPS and has been a member of the parish for 12 years. He has also enjoyed volunteering as a lector and youth group facilitator. He is currently working with the Athletic Committee and Home and School. Strong academics, faith orientation and a strong sense of community are what make Holy Family a good choice for Mark’s family.
Bob Roenitz is a financial advisor who has been a parish member for 19 years. Both of his children attend HFPS. Bob joined the school board to help continue the tradition of excellent education in a Catholic environment. He values the closely knit community of Holy Family that provides a nurturing Catholic education.
John Desing is a portfolio manager who has been a member of the parish for 12 years. He has 3 students attending HFPS. He is a liaison to the finance committee.
Ann Woodhull is a structural engineer with 2 children attending HFPS. She believes that it is important to give back to something you care about. She is the liason to the Buildings & Grounds Committee.
